This mobile was launched in India at a starting price of just Rs 11,999, which was included in the list of Cheapest 5G Phones in India.
Now the company has directly reduced the price of Redmi 12 5G by Rs 500, after which this low-budget smartphone can be purchased at an even lower rate.

Redmi 12 5G phone was launched in India in three RAM variants which include 4GB RAM, 6GB RAM, and 8GB RAM.
The company has reduced the price of 6 GB and 8 GB RAM variants by Rs 500.
Both these models were earlier sold for Rs 13,499 and Rs 15,499 respectively, but now after the price cut, they can be purchased for Rs 12,999 and Rs 14,999. Redmi 12 5G 4GB RAM price is Rs 11,999.

Performance: Redmi 12 5G phone has come in the market with Android 13 with MIUI 14. For processing, this phone has Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, the next version of the chipset present in Redmi Note 12 5G, which is made on 4-nanometer fabrications. It also has LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Besides, 8 GB virtual RAM is also available in it.
Camera: The company has launched a Redmi 12 5G phone in the market with a dual rear camera setup. There is an LED flash on its back panel along with a 50-megapixel primary lens with F/1.8 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth camera. Similarly, for selfies and video calling, this 5G Redmi phone has an 8-megapixel front camera with F/2.0 aperture.
Battery: This phone has a 5,000 mAh battery for power backup. According to the company, after full charge it can give 28 days of standby time or 30 hours of video playback can be achieved on it. To charge the phone faster, it has 18W fast charging technology.
Other Features: This mobile supports 7 5G Bands. It has an IP53 rating, a 3.5mm jack, and an IR Blaster. For security, this smartphone supports side side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
